HURRY !! World Cup Fantasy Footy

Better late than never !!!

C4 have just emailed me with their FF league site for the World Cup.

I've set up a league and all are welcome to join, the more the merrier -

If you want to join go to ...................

http://channel4.fantasyleague.com/FriendsLeague.aspx

click on register and pick your team, then enter you team into our league via 'friends'league' using pin number 12619 (League name = "Alan Hansen's long hot summer" - don't ask ! I tried loads of names but it kept failing till I tried that one !)

Good Luck

Ole

Well. :sigh you say that Peggy but you and I are merely "pending" Managers whatever that may be...I always thought Managers were spending....:rolleyes

Anyway, dammit, I created my team last night and have already had to go and make one change this morning...:doh Gerrard has a "bad back"...:rolleyes so I have put Lamps in instead...:blush

Is HE any good?? Looks good but can he play???;)

PS Did you notice fellow Forumers that a certain party who shall remain nameless, (safe for the fact that his name begins with O and ends with E with an Ell of a lot of cheek inbetween) seems sickeningly demob happy:vomit........anyone would think he was off for a :footie fest in the :sun

OK, Sus and Peggy are in !

Sus has rather curiously got Lionel Messi up front ??? Was that just some sort of lucky guess, or does she actually know something ?

Peggy on the other hand has a strong strikeforce but Micky Silvestre in defense :fool

:giggle :lol

oooohhhhhhh!!

Patronising MCP Senor Oleoleole!!!!!!!!!!!!!:angry

I never make lucky guesses...but I can read ALL the signs!!!!

And so far as the choice of that excellent player is concerned LM has been in the papers and features in "the man to watch" sections all over the place...:tongue

We may shave our legs, speak in squeaky voices and wear lippy but we aren't as daft as we look lad!!! Us gels.....;)

:bs :kick :bs :kick:bs :kick

PS Did you have anything to do with the "pending" bit?????

MCP ??? Moi ?

Quite probably !! Why are the male versions degradingly referred to as ‘’chauvinist pigs’ and the female version respectfully referred to as ‘Feminists’ ??

I had to ‘allow’ you into the league (as Manager) hence you were ‘pending’ but now are ‘IN’. It’s a power thing !!!

Get them legs shaved, and brew up !

Ole

Wel, my legs are shaved and the brews made,:tongue
Mine was a lucky dip, but it had Cisse in it:yikes He promptly got boot out, I don't think he'll play with a broken leg. Roll on 4pm today.:footie :footie :footie

Cisse with a broken leg versus a fit Micky Silvestre – it’s a tough call !

Ole don't you know that Five Penny piece song ?
"He's my brother Silvestre,
He's got a row of silver medals on his chest.
Big chest.
Takes all the Army and the Navy,
To put the wind up...........Silvestre.
He's the best"
