La Graciosa

A few of us caught the ferry to La Graciosa on Saturday, with our mountain bikes, and rode all around the island. We were lucky with the weather (which was fantastic!) and had a fabulous day. We hardly saw a soul on our travels and found some fantastic beaches and memorable scenery.
If you're visiting on holiday, you can hire mountain bikes on La Graciosa.
I would highly recommend it as a great way to spend a day.

La Grasioca

Sounds like a cracking day out Mike.
Always fancied having a look at the island.
Have had a look on Google Earth, not too many roads by the look of it.
Would you say that the terrain is suitable for your "average" cyclist, or can it be a bit testing?

I am the average cyclist Ted! Seriously though, there are parts where the sand is quite soft, so I just got off and pushed, and then there are some brilliant downhill sections which really test the cojones!
As long as you're on an MTB with lots of gears, you'll be fine - and that's what they hire over there. Course, you could always take the Land Rover tour........
