go karting

Hi there folks, coming to lanzarote over xmas and new year and would be interested in doing some go karting, have tried the web sites but no info on cost. anyone have any ideas on this and would you have to book or can you just turn up.

any help would be appreciated.

There are two circuits here, and for both just turn up, no need to book. One is just after the petrol stations on the main road from the airport to Puerto Del Carmen, you'll see a sign off to your right. This is a long but pretty flat circuit and the karts are reasonable.
The other one is at the top of the hill on the Playa Honda - San Bartolomé road. I prefer this one, as the circuit has gradients and is much more challenging. They also have (at extra cost) "fast" karts!!

Don't know about the first one, but the second one is around €8 a go for the normal karts and I think €12 a go for the fast karts. You get a decent long go as well - enough to be praying for it to finish as your arms will be aching!!
