Fishing?

Just wondering if anyone knows whether you can fly fish on the coast in lanzarote? If you can please tell me more.

ive seen the locals fishing in pdc harbour. they were not fly fishing tho. they had like a little plastic cage, full of bread on the end of the line and were after mullet (hundreds of mullet in the harbour.)

i dont now about fly fishing but aparently there is allot of fish to be landed using lures and flouts. if you have a little spinning rod the best bet is to take that with a couple of small spinners and a flout kit. for the bait lob worms or (garden worms) work a treet over there or some squid. but i still think that you would catch bass out there on a fly any way.

I am thinking of taking a small rod for spinning, but someone told me you need a fishing licence to fish in Lanzarote, can someone confirm that for me please.
