Lanzarote here we come

Hi,
we are coming to Playa Pocillos (Partner Costa Mar) for the first time ever in July (the 1st two weeks). Has anybody been at The Partner costa Mar before?. Is is ok around this area. I have three teens in my party (16,19 & 20) and I'm sure you all know what they are like if they are bored. Is it much for teens to do over there?. Wellcome the info, only 8 weeks left (not counting the time really, :rofl ) and I can wait to be on the plane on the 3rd July.
Looking forward to hear from you all.
Cheers, xxx

Costa Mar

As you say Costa Mar is in Los Pocillos where there’s a simply HUGE and mostly empty beach, a handful of shops bars and restaurants, it’s a quiet and relaxing un-cluttered area, but for something more lively, or a greater choice of bars and restaurants head up to Puerto Del Carmen.
The teenagers will want to go to Centro Atlantico which is a good 15 min walk into PDC or €3 in a taxi. Also try the Old Town in PDC, it's a good 30 mins although it’s a very pleasant walk, or cheap taxi.
Ole

Hi, I've just got back from Lanzarote and had a fantastic time, we stayed just near to the Costa Mar complex Playa Pocillos beach, this area is quieter than PDC but within easy reach, there are still quite a few bars and restaurants in the area(try the Mucky Duck 2, the food is great, the staff are brilliant and they have entertainment most nights)
for the teens PDC is ideal, lots going on, lovely beach with watersports in the Harbour although I thought this was quite pricey, we went to Playa Blanca for the day and it was much cheaper there to hire a jet ski (20 euros cheaper!!) and the beach there is beautiful with lots to do for a good day out. I would also reccomend the Go-Karting, we had a great laugh up there and ended up going on 3 times!!! it's 15euros for 8 mins, which is good value compared to the price you pay in the UK, and the track is massive!!
I'm gutted to be home now :-( I hope you have a great time, is there room for a little one!! lol!!
