I am coming over in June / July.. and yes I am 18.. but certainly not going with the "lovely" 18 - 30 groups... not quite my cup of tea (and made sure we didn't stay in their hotels either)... The prices actually worked out better when I arranged it myself anyway!! Anyway.. we're hoping it wont be dominated and spoilt by lots of chavs |

| Club 18-30! Hi guys, I've been reading up on some of the really negative stuff some people have been saying about club 18-30 coming to PDC...i'm actually going to be one of the 18-30 reps for them in PDC, and its not all that bad! everyones on holiday for the same reason, to have a good time! theres still rules like with any other company with regards to the hotels, if they start running riots and there are complaints, it wont just be brushed on the carpet, words will be had; we always urge guests to be considerate of other guests, and many hotels have their own rules about what time they're not allowed on their balconies or to play loud music untill etc Also, just to let you know, Lomo Blanco is no longer one of our properties as there will be too many families in there! Worry not.....it's not as bad as you think!! :) :) Im sure ul all have a great holiday anyway. xx |

| Hiya Kelly, Its brilliant that you’ve come on here to stand up for yourself – Well done !! I think it’s a great idea for like-minded people of the same age to want to holiday together and that’s exactly what I believe Club 18-30 provides for. Its a bit unfortunate that it’s got such a bad reputation over the years, no doubt there’s no smoke without file but TV programs and press don’t help I suppose – no news in 100 18-30 year olds behaving themselves and having a good time, it only makes the press when it goes wrong. Anyway, as someone slightly over the 18-30 age group and someone who regularly stays at Jable I’m putting a brave face on it and I’ll welcome the 18-30s, initially at least. I fully expect a bit of liveliness and occasionally that may spill over but I was young once myself (and occasionally relapse !) and its fine so long as it doesn’t get out of hand and people remain responsible and respectful. And if it does get out of hand I now know who to see lol. Cheers and good luck - Ole

| I suppose we can only see how it goes but you never know it may all go off without a hitch and it will just be ppl coming on holiday to enjoy themselves just like us ... i await to see the reports after they have been for a few months. |

 club 18-30 i know the tv programme doesnt do the company any justice at all, infact i watched it the other day and yes i can see why ur worried lol! but the thing is club reps was filmed years ago, and with all the really negative media club have decieded to do something about it. on our training we were told they want to change their stereotype of 18-30s; if young people want to get drunk they will do whether or not they're on holiday with us, but we cater for those who don't want to drink and wether they do or not is completley up to them, all were doing is showing them the nightlife etc but wont push anyone into drinking themselves silly!! if they do it makes our job 10x harder; as IM the one having to look after them!! all i wanna do is show people a good time, but NOT get them plastered lol...i know in other resorts they do 5 aside footy matches for the lads, and spa days for girls and stuff.....they really r trying 2 change things!! think the excursions for pdc are still being finalised, but you have nothin to worry about. also, im sure itl be a pretty tame resort compared with ibiza aiya napa etc, so hopefully we'l get the more mature crowd wanting to see lanzarote! only 2 of us our reps out there.....i just wanted to have my say on the matter because its not all as bad as what people think! just need 2 get my say on all the other forums that are floating around the net....hopefully wont get in trouble from management tho lol. when are you all off on your holz and where ru staying?? xxx |

| Anne, I'm sooooo jealous!!! I'm just back from the Iberostar and had a wonderful time. I got so used to my view of the sea and I really miss it :( Arrived back to freezing temperatures and then we get snow today. What wouldn't I give to be back there? By the way, not a single 18-30 in sight, just a couple of blushing brides and their excited guests. Have a great time when you get there. Susie :mus |
