| Chinese (Value) restaurants Hi, Loved Playa Blanca, but never been to PdelC. Coming out on the 27th Jan. Tell me someone please which is the best Chinese Restaurant, pro rata to value, in the Old Town. Looking for, say, a three course(set meal), plus bottle of (drinkable) wine. How much will this cost and where do we find it? Thanks Brindsey |

| you will find pdc is livelier than pb, but not as rowdy as blackpool(nothing wrong with blackpool).really good new chinky just opened called wok in old town at top of reina sofia next to purple turtle.menu or all you can eat for under €10.starters inlude sushi, duck prawns etc. no expense spared.after starter take main course up to chef to be cooked in front of you in choice of 8 different sauces.main course inclues steak, chops, etc. |

| Quote "Anyone who thinks PDC is like Blackpool either hasn't been to PDC or hasn't been to Blackpool!" True ! There's a Chinese restaurant on the corner of Cardiac Hill (where it meets the strip) and one just a few yards along the strip and they both do cheap buffets, quite rediculously cheap if my memory serves me correctly (think the one of the corner was €6.50). | If Blackpool had the beaches and the fine walks of Matagorda and Playa Honda it would not be in such a mess! A good value Chinese can be found next to the Owl and Pussy cat bar. The interior is not fantastic but the food is good and the staff are friendly. |

| the chinese next to the owl had horrible food when we last tried it a couple of months ago.chefs change so perhaps thats happened, otherwise i cant imagine anyone praising it..i know my contacts agree its rubbish. |
