Playa Flamingo Beach

Just back from PB and heard from a local that PB has just received European Disaster Fund money to allow them to repair the break waters and re-instate Playa Flamingo beach - anyone know if this is true ?
Was told work was due to start this winter - good news if true.

Hi

Just got back from Playa Blanca and whilst I was there they put more sand on Playa Flamingo beach, however they've not replace the walls to the beach so the sand has already started to wash into bay.
