Car Hire Lanzarote AND Fuerteventura
Hi
I need to hire a car from Lanza airport to Playa Blanca, catch the ferry to Fuerteventura and then drive to our holiday destination. Lanza airport was the only realistic option for suitable flights. Autoreisen don't allow me to take a Lanza hired car across to Fuerte which is crazy as they have offices on both islands. I will be dropping the car back to Lanza airport after our stay.
I'm half tempted to hire it and not divulge that I'm using it in Fuerte but has anyone got any ideas?

Sorry Karl-but I don't think any of the car hire places allow you to take them on the ferries/off the island. I certainly wouldn't take the risk of doing it without their knowledge, you will effectively be driving with no insurance for the duration.

Best bet is probably get a cab to the ferry and hire one when you get over to Fuertventura.

Hi Karl,

I know this thread is a bit old, but just so anyone else knows, we offer this service.
You can pick up a car in Lanzarote and drop off in Fuerteventura, in the full summer season you can do this for about 110 pounds for a small car or 160 pounds for a medium size car.

Question Car hire in Lanzerote and Fuerteventura
Can you hire a care at Fuerteventura airport and drop it of at Arrecife airport in Lanzerote ? Thanks

Try the company Cabrera Medina, they work on both islands.
