Booking Ferry for Fuerteventura

Hello
Can anyone offer advice about how I can ensure availability on (ideally) the Armas ferry from Playa Blanca to Fuerteventura? We are holidaying in Fuerteventura but the only ideal flights we could get are to Lanza airport, hiring a car from there and then driving to Playa Blanca to catch the ferry. Our plane lands on Sun 13 July at 17:10 in Lanza and the last Armas crossing of the day to Fuerte is at 19:00. I'm worried that time is going to be tight and I would like to try and book the ferry in advance to ensure we have no worries. :yikes

ferry

Hi Karl
I assume you are coming from Bristol and there are 9 or 10 flights landing within 30mins either side, so approx 1,500 tourists, which means you may not get your baggage for 45mins that is if your flight is on time, and then sort out the car hire. The journey from the airport if you know the route will take about 40mins or more
If you book your ferry with car and miss it you may loose your money.
Far better to stay overnight in a hotel and avoid all the stress.

Hi tortugarum,
Thanks for your reply, I was kind of thinking the same thing - avoid all the worries and rush. Any suggestions of where to stay for 1 night in Lanza, where to book?

Thanks for the link but they had no availability. The following list of hotels do seem to have availability, but could you advise which are closest to the port?

Hotels

Hi Karl

Why not contact Jetsetters, they are based at the airport and will arrange a hotel and ferry.

All the hotels in Playa Blanca are within a 5 minute drive to the port.
