It's cloudy today, and a bit breezy. But it's still nice and warm. The forecast says the same for tomorrow... but that it's going to clear for the weekend. Still bring your suncream though.. you can still burn through the clouds.

Travel safely, and enjoy Playa Blanca!

You're very welcome Alison... Oh, and just to prove me a liar... I popped outside for a ciggie about half an hour after I posted a reply to you... and the sun was beating down! It seems to have burnt of the clouds by lunchtime the last couple of days. The breeze will still be here honey - but trust me... you'll be thankful for it. Lots of red burnt bodies milling about at the moment.

Sleep well tonight... travel safely tomorrow... and enjoy your holiday!

Elle, thanks for the recommendations of where to eat in Playa Blanca - we came home last week after a GREAT holiday and I've been meaning to say thanks ever since. We loved China City (where the cheeky waiter made us laugh!) and Mamma Rossa's, as you suggested. The Marina Rubicon was a great idea, too, with the bowling alley for my little lad, and we found a fantastic place for filled crepes, on the right hand side of the road, next to the swimming pool. Thanks again :-)

You are very welcome! Am heading down the seafront ourselves shortly... for a few jars in the sunshine. (Sorry to gloat). Will give that crepes lace a try too. Love crepes! A new place has opened in CC Papagayo that does those for €1 each. Yum! I'll have 5 lol. You'll come back again then, yes?

It's absolutely scorchio today. I'm running round with a big grin on my face... but many others are wilting. Tattyali - you must be having a good time in the sun today! The wind has dropped a wee bit for you.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Elle xx

Hi Elle,

It was our third visit this month - we love it! I've asked Bawbee and it sounds like October half term (end of the month) might not be too bad, even with the risk of showers, so I'll have to start saving up ... hee hee! The crepe place that I don't know the name of was in the background of a photo someone uploaded into the forum recently ... sorry I don't have the details to hand, but if you check them out, you will see it :-)
