Playa Flamingo

Hi there .. does anyone out there have any more information about the Playa Flamingo beach works. Is it likely to be open soon or is is still manana?

It´s a total mess at the moment and closed off to the public. So it won´t be till next year and only then if they can find the money from somewhere.

Next year!! Good grief surely they can do something more quickly, it has been rumbling on for years! When I was there a couple of weeks ago I thought it would not be too long. I had heard that it was opening next month but obviously that will not happen. Such a shame for visitors and businesses nearby. A long walk to nearest beach if you at this end of PB.
