| Yes, it's a bit of a hike but a very pleasant walk along the sea front. You can stop off half way at the marina. I'll be doing the same walk in reverse this October. It takes about 50 minutes or so. Bit of a climb at the end unless you go inland a bit a take the road. Look for the front of the Papagayo Arena for the route across the rocks to the first beach. Beware, beautiful beaches but used by naturists and no real place to stop and drink, (although one bar was there last time). |

| Papagayo Beach is in a nature reserve so the only access to it is by foot or by car - the buses don't run to it. If you are staying in Los Coloradas then just walk up beside the Papagayo Arena hotel and then you can drop straight down on to the beach I do it every day and its a lovely walk and stunning views from the clifftops before you get to the beach!
