Green Lanzarote

Alot of our visitors to the island come on holiday in the summer and don't get a chance to see Lanzarote in the winter. Has anyone got some recent photos to show the island at the moment? Because we had rain in October the flowers have been out earlier than normal this year and you can already see fields of yellow and blue around the island. I love the yellow margaritas so here's one from me to start us off. Get your cameras out and take a quick shot of your area of Lanzarote, lets show our Lanza lovers back in the UK what the island looks like in January!

Wow Peggy, those cactus are huge, thats a great photo from the Jardin de Cactus, I dragged my family there and they all enjoyed it, there is so much more than just plants. I fancy one of those sails in my garden as a sun shade they've got outside the bar area, I think I've seen an advert recently about a company offering them - great alternative to pergolas and so Manrique!

I took this photo yesterday, some days its hard to remember its January, it was 25 degrees and lovely sunshine.
