It's very windy in Playa Blanca too, this morning. The puppy and I nearly got blown over when we went out. It's apparently 31mph winds... but should die down tomorrow.

nice one steve,
we got 70mph gusts. ive just heard that 5 lorrys have been blown over on the m6 in cumbria and i had to come home early from work to put the gates back on and sweep up the broken glass from the greenhouse:sigh :rain :rain

I see on the Lanza news site that they shut Playa Blanca port today because of the winds, cruise ship couldn't get into Arrecife and few lamposts blown down - just like being in UK really :rain

We landed during that gale! Nice!

Anyway by the 13th (two days later) it was clear blue skies, zero wind and 27C! It was actually too hot to sit in the sun for lunch. We had to sit in the shade! Nice :tup
