Restaurants at Christmas?

Nice to see the forum back up and running! :kzx

This will be our first Christmas in Lanzarote and I'm hoping not to have to cook

Do the restaurants open for Christmas & Boxing Day? Along the sea front and places like Lani's?

I'm wondering if I'll have to stock up on food before Christmas Eve.

Hi Willow. yes there'll be plenty open on the seafront, and also at the Marina... but they also may need to be prebooked. Depending on when you arrive - you're better off making that your first job after you drop off your cases.
You'll have a great time!
Feliz navidad

Of course Angie won't be going to any of them herself ... she's far to trendy :cool to mix with forum geeks. :vomit

She's just trying to make sure all the 'computer geeks' go to one (or 4?) place so as not to spoil her Christmas! :zxz

Rachel, best not to post your email address in the forum. The spam spiders will get you! I'll send you the menus now.

Just wondered what the Locals eat as a traditional Christmas dinner?

I think we'd rather try to do Christmas Spanish style.

Any thoughts?

Fireworks Tonight!

I hear that there will be live music in Playa Blanca around midnight and fireworks at 1am.

We're going along at about 11ish for a look!

Hope I'm right!

We're heading down there about 10... so if you see a couple with a black labrador puppy... come and say howdy!
Enjoy it all, Willow!
Elle, Alan & Guido the puppy.

Oh Keith - he absolutely loved it! He was the centre of attention all night, and made lots of new friends. When the fireworks were going off... it was me who was jumping.... whereas he almost rolled his eyes at me. "Sheesh Mum... get over it!" :dog

Hi Robbie. I wouldn't worry too much, there seemed to be plenty of places open along the sea front that didn't need bookings.

Last year the weather was fabulous. Hope it's great for you.
