The state of Playa Flamingo Beach

Hello,

I wonder if anyone could tell me what the current state of the Playa Flamingo beach is? The last time we visited half of the sand on the beach was missing and the sea defences were collapsed in the sea. Can anyone tell me if any of this have been fixed now?

The sea defences have now been repaired and the beach partially open to tourists. Still lots of diggers around and any sand there is like very fine builders´sand so that swimming is not nice at all. It´s like swimming in a river where your feet stir up all the silt.
The sea is much clearer at Muleta Beach, not far away, though of course to find proper sand you have to go to Playa Dorada or the Papagayo beaches.
