I am doing some reserch in Lanzarote on the channels BBC1/BBC2/ITV/C4 & 5 plus Film 4.
Does anybody miss Eastenders,Corrie,Emmerdale, New Dragons Den,Dancing on Ice, Match of Day, Desp Housewives, CSI, Footie on ITV and soon F1, Rugby, Brit Awards, Baftas, Dramas,Chat Shows, Jonathan Ross,Pierce Morgan, News, and more.....
I know there has been some bad reports in the past, I would like to have comments from anybody, good or bad, and whether the english communities of Lanzarote are ready for a better choice of good Quality english TV.

Wouldn't the makers of CSI and Desperate Housewives be hacked off to hear you calling them English TV! You can watch them here in English on the Spanish satellite system called Canal / Via as well as House, Lost, ER, Greys Anatomy and lots of other American series.

Thanks for reminding me of all the reasons why we come to Lanza, i.e., not to see the crap on TV.

That list of programmes is horrific though.

Not sure about Pierce Morgan, unless he has now been (justifiably) impaled?

What are you selling Lindamartin? Slingboxes (fuzzy TV via an ADSL line) or pirated microwaved TV? Very common in Tenerife (so I'm told)

You can watch F1 and Wimbledon, golf and most sports broadcst on BBC by hiting the red button on BBC News 24, which most satelliete installaions have, even though they don't have the main BBC channels.
