Ironman

Hoping to come to Lanza end of May, not so easy to get a flight as Easyjet is only on Sun and Thurs. GB airways was more flexible, however Hubbie wants to see the Ironman race and I believe it is 24th May, can any 'locals' let us know where is the best place to view parts of the race and where does it end? any information would be greatly appreciated.

You can spend all day at the transition where there are large public stands, or you can go out on the bike course to view for a while. Best to stand on a steep uphill otherwise they go past you too fast! :Bbike

any chance you will be competing, you must be fit with all the weather forecasts you do !!!!!!

Bawbs just needs to get through that psychological barrier of his 100 mtr swimming badge then I'm sure he'll be competing.
