Naturist/Nude beaches?

We are coming to the island this september. Going via Cosmos holidays. We are naturists and would love to go somewhere on the island where we can sunbathe in the nude. We know of the Papagayo beaches in playa blanca. Does anyone know where else on the island we can go? Anyone got a recommendation for apartments used by Cosmos near a nude beach ? Any replies much appreciated

Charco del Palo in the north of the island is a naturist village with a small beach.

Try the beach just past the airport runway on the way to Playa Honda. Lots of people stay there.

Firstly there is Charco del Palo - a naturist village where nudity is OK not just by the sea but all round the village.
Secondly naturism is fine on virtually all the beaches at Papagayo other than the two which are overlooked by the cafe. Park as if for the cafe in the bottom right car park, follow the track over the hill to the beach below - gorgeous - and you could even walk there in the nude if you felt like it.
On nearly every beach you will find a mixture of textiles and naturists but I would guess that at Papagayo there are probably more naturists.
If you are in the north of the island turn down a track just after the pedestrian crossing as you go into Orzola and follow it to the bay - the far end is used mainly by naturists.
I hope this helps but as far as Cosmos properties are concerned I am afraid that I cannot help you.

Not sure if the OP is still at a loss re Lanzarote naturism (because going on a Cosmos package holiday definitely ain't the way to achieve anything) but if he / she is still picking up alerts from the forum, then this post echoes the earlier re Charco.

It's quiet, pretty, self-contained, and clothes-optional throughout. It's many a mile from the overcrowded, over-developed south of the island --ah, what price Playa Blanca's urbanised destruction now? -- and doesn't involve the hassle of the Papagayo treks. (But then, neither does Famara.)

Best thing is to hire a car, tootle over (or rather, down -- because the village is tucked away by the sea at the bottom of a long, winding road from Mala) and then check out accommodation rentals for the next visit.

Charco's still a place out of time and the reason so many of us who know it don't bang on about it is because we prefer to keep it very much out of mind: the last thing anybody wants is for the place to be a day trip out for prurient gawkers suffering adolescent identity crises.
