Travelling To Lanzarote Alone!

HI EVERYONE!, Im new to this sit,so i just thought il leave a post.
Iv decided to travel to Lanzarote this year ALONE :yikes. (kind of scary)
I plan to travel to Lanzarote in June, and stay for 7nts. (i havent booked any dates yet).
I was thinking of going to Puerto Del Carmen and staying at the Las Marinas Apt (simply because they are cheap)
Iv never been there before,nor have i ever traveled alone before.
Is there any advise anyone can give me?

Also i was thinking if there is anyone els that may be travelling alone around the same time as me, we could meet up.

Im taking this holiday as a mid year break from work and i realy just want to chill out,catch a tan and have a real laugh. LOL.
