Need your experience please

Hello all, its been a while since I posted here.

I've managed to do well out of an investment and wanted to share some of it by treating the family and their partners to a week in P.B. I've been there before a couple of times so I know my way around.

What I'm after is a nice place around P.B big enough for a quiet group of 8 for a week and wondered if anyone had a suggestion. Three bedrooms with a living area which converts is the minimum. Also can I hire transport big enough to seat 8 of us with luggage?

If you don't know of a place some pointers to responsible websites would be good if you know any.

Thanks

Hi Roy

When are you thinking of going? We have some of the finest 4 bedroom villas in Playa Blanca. Whether the website is responsible or not is for others to judge! ;)

Hi Roy

I have stayed in several of the villa's on Bawbee's web site and can confirm all is reliable!

If you want something special try this one if it is available when you need it. I stayed in it last year and it is superb, got everything you need, plenty big enough for 8 of you with amazing sea views.

Anytime from November. I may try and hold out untill Feb to mid March 08 but unsure about the weather at that time.

Jackie, that villa looks great, just what I had in mind. Is it possible to locate on a map? I know PB quite well so if you could describe where that would help. Is it ok for parking and what is the hotel I can see in the distance?

Are owners of these villas open to ideas like a 9/10 day visit? I would love to arrive on a Thursday and leave on a Sat for example. 7 days is never enough and 2 weeks is too much to ask everyone to commit to.

Thanks for the help and ideas.

A google map link to the villa full zoom and aerial would be a great help.

Thanks :kiss

Hi Roy

I'm sure Bawbs will provide you with a map when he comes on later. But meanwhile.......The villa is situated in between the Timanfaya Palace hotel and the Natura Palace hotel. It was waste land for quite a few years but now superb villas there known as Playa Real. It is accessed from the road leading to Natura but once there you will have a key to allow you out the private gate straight on to the prom that runs to the beach or other way to the Rubicon.

The villa has it's own parking area at the side, will easily get 2-3 cars on it if need be. I can send you some more pictures of the inside of the villa if you'd like-PM me your email address if you do.

9/10 day booking will depend on availability-you'll have to check that with Bawbs.

It's a lovely spot Jackie - you're right. Wish I'd bought one!

Here's the map link!

They're the villas in the circular formation.

Jackie - your a star!

I've shown the villa to my wife and she loves it. I need the others to see it but it looks like its a done deal assuming we have availability. Even thats not a problem as we can be flexible.

Just having a stab at dates we thought 11 - 21 March 08. BA can get us all there for Ģ934. Shame its Gatwick as we have Stansted 10 miles away! Hope its pool'ish weather at that time.

PM on the way.

Thanks for the link. Perfect location and I wish I bought one too! I did think about one on Shangrila park at one time but had a change of heart as I still yearn for my beloved Menorca.

Sorry to spoil your plans a little, Roy, but the villa is only rented out from Thursday to Thursday due to its popularity. Currently available for all of March 2008. Being a millionaire, Jackie stayed for 3 weeks but even that was too short for her, so 14 days itīll have to be. ;)

Have to agree with Bawbs Roy-a week won't be nearly long enough. You'll have the wife and family creating when it's time to leave :lol

I wish I had as much money as Bawbee thinks I do 'cos then I'd have the whole of March!:ckb

Now looking at 13th - 20th March 08 as I have to start somewhere.

Its a shame its only a week but I'm no millionaire either. BA quotes me Ģ1014 for flights for the 8.

Now its a case of making sure its suitable dates (exams at school for the youngest) for everyone including the owner!

Oh well done Roy-you won't regret it. Nice web site BTW-will have a good nose through when I have more time.

Now I get a diamond ring from Bawbee as a reward! :rofl
