Unhappy pet lovers

ok folks,
anyone know how to deal with pet allergies? just got a boxer pup, and my eldest son has come out in blotches, got a tight chest and itchy ayes since he arrived.he has never had any trouble with dogs before and now is devastated that it might have to go.
any suggestions, ideas, tips or hints will be welcome.

Well I suppose anti-histamin tablets would help short term Dave, they are good for allergies. But may have to let me have that cute pup if it carries on!

Don't know if this helps, but my brother always had the same symptoms with cats. However after a few weeks his body came immune to the cat.
Try the pup for a few weeks if nothing changes then make your mind up! .... :sad
