Memories

whats your one special memory of your visits to the island.
mine is our first visit to costa teguise, in the early nineties. we stayed at the el gurapo apts and it was xmas.every day was spent exploring the resort etc.the kids were only 8 and 10 then and xmas day was spent at the pool, playing pool for the first time with the kids and then going into the resturant for xmas dinner, lanza style.we met some really nice people over the 2 weeks stay and with it only being a small complex, everyone soon got to know each other. the weather then was fantastic and come new years day, when we all had to leave, we had had the best holiday ever. ive still got the videos somewhere, i will have to dig them out.

There are so many, it's difficult to fine just one, but, I think it has to be when I took my 25 yr old son and he bought me a drink for the first time !

After many years of travelling around and enjoying some fabulous spots, I came to Lanzarote and for the first time in my life I felt totally chilled.
I can't put my finger on it but I just had a truly magical experience.

Keith.

We had bought a weeks timeshare in a complex which was having problems and the apartments were being sold very cheaply.- we thought we could use it for exchanges. However we fell in love with the place right away.and with the rest of Lanza in the next few days- that was about 12 years ago and I still remember how delighted we were -we couldn't believe our luck. we go back every year as do a number of the people who first came at the same time-it's like visiting very dear friends.

I am a fourty something (nearly 50) who has travelled greatly throughout Europe and the eastern block before perestoika. I fell in love with many countries and cities.

I first went to Lanz about 20 years ago just to get some peace for a week.

I truly fell in love with the island - I have been at least three times a year since then and am buying an apartment at Costa Teguise. My (now) wife had never been there until I took her over there a few years ago. She was overawed. The art, culture, peace - it's just beutifull.

I love it so much that I have the 'El Diablo Timanfaya' tattood on my shoulder.

Love Lanz.
