Arrecife Carnival - Monday?

It's the Arrecife Carnival Parade at 5pm this coming Monday and we want to go along.

Anyone got any tips on parking? I haven't a clue. :sigh

I understand that it starts at the football ground wherever that is????

You need to get in early because they close the roads a couple of hours before, even the bus's can't get in. We watched it close to the finishing place,down on the front. Only problem was, everyone was a little worse for wear by the time they got there.

Looking for some advice from anyone who knows the Playa Honda area please ...

Looking at the map it seems that if we can park near the Yacht Club in El Cable we can walk along the prom to the Playa Reducto area. It looks to only be 2-3km.

I've looked at several maps and I can't tell if I need to go through Playa Honda to get to El Cable or whether it has it's own exit off the main LZ2.

Any tips on how best to get to El Cable?
