Hi all,

Jo popped in the bar last night with some sponsor forms for her big race.

She was hoping to meet a few people but with this board being down for such a long time she never managed to arrange anything.

She's feeling fit and ready to go, she is also popping back to the bar on Monday night to collect the money we are getting the locals to put in.

Really well! her husband took some good photos and I took one of the two of them on his camera which will be posted no doubt but I we have one on Daves phone which I will post later. Joan had just crossed the finish line and didn´t even seem out of breath. Totally put us to shame. Amazingly well done Joan!

Joan came back to the bar on monday night with her medal. She had a great time and completed the race in 1 hour 19 minutes (if memory is right).

She has said that hopefully next year she will do the race again so start saving your sponsorship money up now :)

Not the thread to ask this question but to answer it anyway, don't believe everything you hear...

The beach is surrounded by bars and restaurants so you will have plenty of choice.

Apologies - thought I had replied to this, but it seems not! Anyway, the full amount won't be known until SARA get it all collected from the various sources but from Las Calas , where we were staying, plus 2 other bars The Rendezvous and the Hanging Money I collected 487 Euros Thanks to all who contributed.

Add to that 200 euros from Montana Pool & Spa Showroom and another 200 raised by Majorie with some of the Sara ladies so we are up to 887 euros and still counting I think:ty
