DO IT Lad.....:clap

I can recommend it...;) But then again I am a glamourous blonde lady so I suppose you wouldn't expect it to be any problem for me....:blush

Seriously Jeremy, I am just back from an excellent week in PDC...I did meet people from the forum while I was there but I also met loads of people in the hotel ...everyone is very friendly and they tend to gravitate to a lone body......;)

You won't be alone for long I bet...:love

Jeremy,
I’ve been on my own 3 or 4 times. There are moments when you get a little bored, but I found that helped me realize how laid back and relaxed you should be.
So what if you’re eating alone is a restaurant, who cares ? And what does it matter if somebody does ? When you on your own you can afford to be selfish, there’s nobody else you have to consider - within reason ! It’s a great way of clearing your mind.
Go for it !
Watch out though if your booking a package because you’ll probably get clobbered for under occupancy.
I think you might be choosing a bad time to go on your own actually, during the school hols the prices are much higher and there’ll be more families around – no problem with that in itself, but it might be worth waiting till Sept or Oct.
Cheers - Ole

i cant see the problem.
think of it ;
get up when you want
drink what and when you want
eat what and when you want
go to bed when you want
go wherever you want
have a go:sigh
just remember that you are by yourself and dont do anything daft.
good luck:tup

Can I just make a point of re-stressing Dave O’s point “just remember that you are by yourself and don’t do anything daft”

I found that with so much freedom I found it all too easy to pop for a quick drink or 2 – one thing leads to another and I got a little too tipsy one night !

Oh, I can almost hear the tutting now !!! Well he who hasn’t sinned can cast the first stone !

Ole

Well said Ole..

Now there's an honest man!!! :clap

But that is what I found too, if you are alone you can do exactly what you want, when you want...no need to ask anyone for any permission or anything else...

Dave and Hev can certainly vouch for my very good behaviour!! :blush

there is only one negative that i can see........... no one to put you to bed when you've had too much pop!!! unless you get lucky of course!!!!! but then that could be a negative too cos if your that drunk you really don't want to wake up next to anything that you haven't remembered meeting!!:yikes

Glad you have decided to go Jeremy and that we have all helped you make the right decision. :b7 I am sure you won't regret it!!!!:clap

Weather last late September was fabulous, 30+ in Playa Blanca every day I'd say it is better than June by quite a large margin...well this June anyway!!!!:giggle

Hold off booking just now, I am sure you will get ample choice from Gatwick last minute. Wouldn't know where to suggest that you stay but some of the regulars PDC-ers will be able help there I am sure..:b7

Sus

PS"( single male seeking company in lanzarote ect lol ) "

I am sure if you put an ad like that anywhere lad, you'll be inundated with applicatnts........LANZAROTE can pull...;)

Jeremy, I'd go October or November, no kids around apart from the wee bairns, weather is still great. As for being on your own - it's great - you can do what you want when you want - just don't get too pissed that you don't know what your doing or where you are
