Temporal Disturbance?

I just wondered if any other residents here had something strange happen this morning in relation to time.

My alarm went off as usual this morning at 0630. I got straight up, went into the bathroom and jumped into the shower. Less than 10 minutes later I got out of the shower and checked my watch....and was staggered to find that it was 0715! I rushed to check on the kids, both of whom were just getting up. They both swore there alarms (0645 and 0700) had both just gone off. I also swore (!) and just managed to get them off to school and college.

I've spent all day thinking this just happened to us and that there was a logical explanation. But someone else who works in another office next door has just told us an incredibly similar story. Her alarm is set for 0752 every morning, and she got up as it went off, only to find the time was 0715. This conversation sent a shiver down my spine as I hadn't told anyone my story, and I thought I'd put a post up to see if anybody else had a weird experience this morning. If you did let us all know!

Mike, I was just thinking, we have not set an alarm once since moving to the island! We have no need for an alarm clock here are there is no panic getting up in the mornings as we start at 10am (a lot later than we would in UK) and Arabella wakes us up, before she came along it was the dogs. Is there anything you have had absolutely no use for since moving to Lanza?

I can think of one more thing off hand - Supermarket loyalty cards! No Nectar points over here.

Great question!!:

Coats, gloves, scarves, ties, cufflinks, BMW's, Solariums, DVD's, burglar alarms, cheque guarantee cards, briefcase.

Spooky Mike:yikes

Angie, my eldest didn't sleep through the night properly until he was at least 3 - complete nightmare. He still needs very little sleep, and even at weekends, no matter what time he went to bed, if he's still in bed by 7.30 it's a result:rolleyes

On the other hand, my youngest has slept all night since day 1 and often has to be woken up in the morning (usually by his brother:shkhd) and is a real grumpy guts first thing (takes after his mother :giggle ) wheareas the eldest is full of beans from the start of the day :yikes

I wondered if it had anything to do with the psychic medium who is making his way to Lanza....:khu

It wasn't today that he arrived was it Angie???:yikes

Sorry went back to edit in case you were confused..I was tallking about the weird phenomenon this morning ..:blush

But so far as sleeping through the night was concerned with Blair, he used to sleep in the afternoons and was up all night....nowadays he sleeps ALL day and is UP half the night!!!:rolleyes
