We're back - the great Golden Wedding bash is over and it was WONDERFUL!!!! The weather was superb, and everything went according to plan except that the family didn't do much sight seeing- just couldn't get those sun-starved Scots away from the pool!! We didn't manage to see the people we had hoped to see-sorry JonPaul, Sarah and Phil but hopefully we will be back in November.I've been frantically busy since we got back [Community Council stuff} so haven't had time to download photos yet- yours are great, Peggy.
Back to the grindstone - hopefully we will thaw out soon, it's b----- freezing here and to think last week it was ninety degrees in Lanza.!!!! Roll on November!

We had our meal in one of the on site restaurants - we had made most of the arrangements when we were there in December and the final details were sorted out by e-mail. The staff were really helpful and even booked an illusionist for the evening so the kids really enjoyed it.
