Insurance Claims following Delta Storm?

Just wondered how everyone is progressing with their insurance claims following the big storm.

We're insured with a UK based company and their loss-adjusters made first contact with me today (12th Dec). The claim was submitted on the 5th Dec.

Wondered how that compares with the many insured through Banca March? Are they paying up?

The word is that all claims have to be in by tomorrow (Tues) or you´ve had it. :sad

How's everyone doing with their insurance claims?

We're insured with HIFX in the UK and have put in our repair invoices today. They had verbally agreed the quotes so should be ok.

How have folk got on with Banca March Insurance claims?

Banca March are a lot cheaper than HIFX I think - just wondered how the claims/service compares.

We've received a cheque in full settlement this morning.

It wasn't cheap! Over £3000.

Very pleased with HIFX Insurance.

They're about twice the price of the Banca March Policy I understand but at least they've paid out.

How are Banca March claimants getting on? Anyone know?
