Taking hire car from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote

Hi folks,

Coming to Lanza via Fuerteventura on Saturday because there are no direct flights from Shannon to Lanza...at least not yet anyway!:tft So what I really want to know is if we can bring a hire car from Fuerteventura across or do we have to come over then hire a car when we get there. Very confusing, but I'm sure it's not impossible;)

Any help with this would be appreciated.

SusieQ....there are direct flights from Shannon to Lanzarote on Saturday, Sunday and Thursady but not with Ryanair.

Thanks Willow. I've already seen prices for Autoreisen and they're pretty good so it looks like I'll be going with them!

Puertomalva. The problem with the other flights is that they are charter flights and more than twice the price of Ryanair, so it's worth having an adventure to save some money.

Good luck with the trip. Have you booked overnight in Fuerteventura, or are you hoping to catch the last ferry. In case you have not checked the last Fred Olsen ferry departs Corralejo at 7pm and the Armas departs at 8pm.

We're staying two nights in Fuerte and coming to Lanza on Monday. We usually stay in PB but are going to Puerto Calero for a change. No doubt we'll be spending a lot of time in PB though. Thanks for the info and we'll be making sure of the times of the ferries once we get to the hotel.

I'm sorry Sussy but you cannot take abroad your car there. Las year I booked with them and I could'n go from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote :-(.
