Over priced taxis

When we were in Tenerife las year, the taxi from the airport to our hotel cost us 30 euro. We had asked several drivers for a quote (had checked on Forums and price should have been 15 to 18 euro) and one driver was particularly aggressive. As there were long queues, you paid or you didn't get to ride. On the return journey, the hotel called a taxi for us - same time of day, same people, same luggage. The cost this time was 19 euro including the tip. Also whenever we travelled by tax, day or night, the meters always ran at rate 3. Coming out to Lanzarote on the 27th Jan next. Please tell me this doesn't happen. If it does, wer're on ths bus - don't mind paying, but hate being ripped off!

you wont get ripped off in lanza.
drivers in general are freindly and honest.
supplements apply after 10pm,fiestas,and airport drops.

I think the taxi's in Lanza are very reasonably priced and use them frequently. Do the same trip a dozen times with different drivers and it always comes to the same price-so no rip offs.
