Found a racing pigeon!!!

:srs I have found a racing pigeon that seems to be in some difficulty I only have a serial number on a leg ring with no prefix. Anyone know what I should do with it, if it won't fly the coop in a couple of days.

Or who to contact.

Thanks!

Unless he's personally attached to it, I can't see that the owner will want that particular one back !

Pigeon update We found another ring on the bird. (underneath the other ring)

It says "ESP RFCE 2004 228913" I have been checking the net and some birds can be worth 12,000 euros!!! ( for a pigeon!!!):rofl

Try selling it to the Correos. Couldn't be slower!

OK, call me a thicko if you want, but how can a homing pigeon be worth any money – unless it’s for breeding ?

Surely if you spend a load of money on one because it’s really good then the first time you race it it’s gonna go straight back to the previous owner.

????????????

Well it’s true isn’t it ?? Or have I missed the point ?

Ole
:sigh
