Time for a moderator?

As with every other VBulletin forum, spammers and bots find their way onto the boards, posting spam and trash.
Why not make someone a moderator to clean the boards of these spam posts, instead of just having 2 (1 of late) Admin.
I am an Admin on a well known Mercedes forum (VBulletin also) and we have over 15 staff members from moderators through to Super Admin.
Someone is normally along shortly after a spam post to clean it up.
Just a suggestion, given the boards are currently full of spam about gucci castoffs.

Maybe new members first post should be vetted before allowing them onto the forum. :sigh

Well some idiot has managed to get on and spam every thread on the board, hopefully a mod will notice and remove.
Does beg the question about people joining and being able to post rubbish without vetting...

cheers
Keith
