Modifying User Options on CP

Hi, I love this Forum already; it is nice and friendly and so helpful. Anyway, my query is how can I use my own Avatar (my CP says this option is not available to me) I am not keen on bells and whistles or animations and would just like to use my own please.

Many Thanks
Jon

Not sure if Bawbee has control of that section - but he may be able to add an avatar on your behalf. It does mean that anyone else would then have access to it, because it's in the main list... but at least you could use it.

Bawbee will know anyway.

Err....... :blush

My CP says....

"You may upload a new custom image using the controls below. Either enter the URL to the image you wish to use, or use the upload control to upload an image directly from your own computer. "

Do you not have that facility?

No... we don't have that. All we can do is choose from the avatars available. You, as administrator, may be able to change the settings for users somewhere so that others can have that function too. It depends what forum program you use, as to whether it's an option.

Alan told me this... because he's more au fait with forum back-office control than I am.

Hope that helps
