Camilla Paulsson, the Swedish soprano, who sang with the Royal Danish Opera for many years, has kindly offered to perform two benefit concerts to raise much-needed funds. Now living on Lanzarote, and an animal-lover, Camilla will be accompanied on the piano by Michael Emerson and her special guest will be Iya Zhmaeva, the Russian violinist. The programme will include music from The Mission, Carmen, Chess, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, The Merry Widow and Les Miserables together with well-known works by Manuel de Falla, Poulenc and Dvorak.
