It should be great, its an extended family break and we all like a bit of quiet R&R.

My middle daughter and son have never visited Lanzarote so I look forward to showing them the sights and seeing their faces on the camels!

The villa and pool are a 'bit of icing' on the cake. Family time is special and I'm so looking forward to spending time with them all.

I wonder what PDC is like this time of year, I did visit once but it was too 'scratch cardy' for my liking. Maybe out the high season it would be better.

Roy-I doubt very much if any of you will want to stray too far away from the villa/pool for too long.:wow

But the camel ride will be fun for 1st timers-I'd NEVER go on them again. :nono Especially when the one in front of us wasn't chained up to us or the one before it and suddenly went hurtling away with it's passengers screaming their heads off. Have never seen so many cameras and camcorders whipped out :lol

Jackie, what is the other small pool? Is is just a splash pool for kiddies?

I'm tempted to go and sit in front of that webcam in CT and send a link on my phone to people in the office!

Yes Roy-the small pool is for kids. But it is lovely to just sit in there with a good book and a refreshing drink! :wnk

Oh I'm sure the people in your office would be pleased to see you enjoying yourself in the sun while they are working. :rofl

Well so far so good thanks to every one with their recommendations for Villa, flights and car hire.

I never expected it to be such a painless task organising 8 people for a week away. I must say the villa rental part has been totally professional, if everything else runs that smooth then I can truly look forward to a weeks of pampered relaxation.

Its my daughters birthday (22) while we are away and I would love to take everyone to dinner that evening somewhere a touch special so again I'm looking for a recommendation. Prefer Playa Blanca, sea view, maybe a little quieter than the most you get the idea.

Any thoughts?
