Sad Day!

My old faithful Nokia 3310 finally gave up on me today. After ten years of loyal service. Spose I will have to come screaming and sulking into this new millenium and go and buy one of those "girlie"things with titchy buttons and irritating ring tones.
Any suggestions on what I should buy?:khu
Remember I'm an old "tog" so I need buttons I can see and a 42" screen, and without a 90 page instruction manual!!

Oh Ted, I feel for you. I have an idiot proof camera, and I still struggle with that. :doh

As a tog myself I can understand your current state of technophobia, however this model is easy to use, reliable and it's been around for a while so shouldn't be expensive....the Nokia 6230i

I find Samsung slides are nice phones and user friendly, D900 or D840,, their new ones are Z's I think,,, but as you are used to Nokia you would probably be better getting an updated Nokia model.

Absolutely agre with ILUVLANZ. I had a 6230i until very recently (I introduced it to vodka and sprite - and it didn't like it!)

It's very user friendly.

Thumbs up New Nokia it is then!

Thanks for the advice. I will be off to the carphone warehouse today!
What I really want is one like "captain Kirk" used to have, I quite fancy being able to be "beamed" up. Come in very useful at times!!
