thomsonfly

Has any member had any experience with flying with thomsonfly. Am looking to book up to lanza in November and the cheapest flight deal I can get is with thomsonfly (at the moment) so wondered if anyone had had any good or bad experiences

I've used them a number of times... and will be using them again in a couple of weeks. (Monarch to the UK... and Thomsonfly back to Lanzarote). Given a choice, I prefer BA... but the pricing can be prohibitive sometimes.
Thomsonfly are cheap and cheerful. You get the same kind of grumbles as with any flight - not enough legroom, a big head in front of you blocking the tv screen, and a kid behind you kicking the hell out of your back. same as anywhere else really!
:lol
But you're only on it for a few short hours... and then you walk down the ramp, get hit in the face with balmy weather... and smile - because you're back in Lanzarote!
If you've spotted a bargain - grab it now... because we know a lot of people aren't finding them.

I used them in March, as Elle said, same as any other.
Talking of leg room, we flew back with First Choice, and the leg room was non existent, never again.

Many thanks for that folks. Usually go with Monarch but they change their flight times at the end of the season and instead of flying at 0700 they go at 1100. I like being early, it's like another day on the island and there aint no hanging around coming back to UK. There is a Xl flight at 0630 and the thomsonfly one is at 0705. Better get cracking on booking up the holiday :sun

Hi Jackie
Yes I got that XL flight last November and there were no problems, but being a tight Scotsman I noticed the Thomsonfly one £15 cheaper lol

Thomsonfly are absolutely fine.

Use something like www.flights-uncovered.co.uk

to search out the best deals.

BA used to be great but we've just used them and their operator GB Airways have squeezed in lots of extra seats and it's not really comfortable.

We've been using BA for the last few years. I'll now shop around. Their legroom is no better than Charter airlines now.

Having said that they do tend to offer good prices if booked well in advance and do tend to attract a 'nicer 'sort of traveller. (No lager louts!)
