Vanquished?

It was with much delight and hilarity I awoke from my slumber this dawn to find that our very good comrade known as Bawbee has been sent into exile by lanzaroteisland.com after many incidences of his meteorological dross postings. One wonders just how long it may be before other forum owners experience enlightenment and realise that repetitive dross about the weather that was, is of no worth to man nor beast, and serves to do no more than diminish their credibility amongst the masses! Has Armageddon arrived? Is this the end of an era? One certainly would wish it to be so! Perhaps in the forthcoming days and years we may have to resort to consulting meteorological sites set up for the sole and exclusive purpose of precise climate prediction?

Seems it doesn't take much to evoke 'delight and hilarity' in some poor souls who must lead very dull lives- and do we have to have this silly sniping all over again on two sites? Personally I enjoy Bawbee's weather reports as I know the island quite well and have friends who live or ar on holiday there and it is interesting to know what they are experiencing. When I want a detailled official forecast I have no problems finding one, meanwhile Bawbee's cheery, chatty comments suit me fine.

Well said Jo-my sentiments exactly! Bawbee's weather reports are not compulsory reading-if you are not interested in the day to day forecasts then simply don't read 'em.

This sad person has put themselves out to register on two forums under an alias to make sarky comments. But obviously he (a woman couldn't be bothered!) has been reading the reports daily to know what they consist of.:lol

You carry on Bawbs-most of us like to know what the weather is doing over there-tides us over until we can come and see for ourselves. :sun

They may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom.

Dear Costateguise60,
Very funny, made me laugh as well, except I’m not laughing ‘with’ you I’m laughing ‘at’ you.

You’ve actually spent several weeks upsetting yourself over a web posting of a PB resident saying what the weather is like each day. Each weather report must have been like a slap in your face, :angry and I bet you read them every day – lol, lmfao :rofl :rofl.

Be aware, be very aware that this is not normal behaviour, it’s peculiar to a small number of people on one web forum. It’s a matter of fact that Bawbee’s weather posts are amongst the most widely read across the spectrum of lanza sites.

There’s nothing wrong with the weather posts, there’s something wrong with certain members of one web forum !
Have a nice day, and keep digging.
Ole

Others on yet another forum have reacted in the same way we have in that.... If you don't like the weather reports simply ignore them.

Think the amount of people that enjoy reading them out ways this sad persons comments by far. :sun We all enjoy Bawb's down to earth "Tell it like it is" reports, we really don't need the technical, meteorological stuff that others are so fond of posting.:nerner
