| Hey, i just got back from lanzarote on New Years Eve ! and im depressed ever since it is raining here in Ireland!! It was even dodgy trying to land in Ireland with the wind. I had a great time in Lanzarote! the weather was good for most of the week except for one day that was cloudy and breezy, but hey, it still beats the rain!! Im going back to Lanzarote on the 17th of June for a Friends wedding Can wait |

| Can't wait to move over! Hi all we have decided to make the move to Lanzarote ASAP all things permitting and a fair wind! We, my lovely wife Sylvia and me Jon, have semi-retired but we still run a couple of small businesses here on the Isle of Wight; Curry & Computers - what a mix. Hope to do likewise in Lanzarote. A huge thanks to Elle for the help & support and the big welcome. Also many thanks to Mark, Mike & Guy at the businesses end! (can't advertise can I), but you know who you are. Jon & Sylvia |

| Apologies.... I don't think that I've introduced myself yet! :sry My name is Kevin, I'm 31yrs old and come from Walsall in the West Midlands. I have been visiting Lanza every year since 1995 (sometimes more than just the once a year). I love the place. whenever I visit, I usuall stay in PDC at La Penita Apts ( www.lanzarote.com/reservas/lapenita ) These apartments are superb... in a very good location with excellent facilities to hand.... I'd recommend them to anyone! |

| Hiya Kev, Another PDC regular in our midst ! I’ve never stayed at Penita but know people who have it’s always had great reviews. I prefer to stay a little further down towards the Fariones area, a creature of habit much as you are. Cheers - Ole

| Hello all. I'm new to this forum, so a big hello from NW UK. Been going to Lanza for a few yrs. It feels more like home THAN home.. I always stay at the Atlantis Las Lomas apts in PDC; cheap, cheerful & the staff are really friendly, as are all of the people in Lanza. Hoping to move over (fingers crossed) in about 12 months. Buy a nice little 1 bed apartment & live happily ever after. I'm a 46 yr old plasterer. So, if ya need any work doin when I move over, give me a bell. I'm also cheap n cheerful !! But I don't wear cycling shorts ?? ha ha ha. PS. If anyone is going over in the next few weeks, and you "just happen" to call into Rutta66 for a drink, say hello to all the gang, Becky, Stuart, Louisa, Christina, Krista ,Richie (the DJ) and all the rest from me. Mention G & T's & they'll know who you mean !! Mick,,,,, alias (pickles) !! :ckb

| hi Ole You can book Las Velazquez through First Choice. They are brilliant apartments right on the sea front. You walk out of your apartment down a little path to the rocks . The apartments are next to the Cafe Ola and the casino. We have stayed there 5 times and would definately recommend them. Hope that helps. Bye for now ~Sarah |

| Hi , im going to puerto del carmen and stayin at the plaza palmeras apts. I cannot wait will be on the plane this time tommorow . Do you know if there will be any sort of watersports in feb / march or is it too early ? |
| |||
| Michelle, Most watersports in PDC operates off Playa Chica beach which is near the Old Town. However, there's a little outdoor bar opposite the Biosfera Shopping center called Bus Stop and I believe they take bookings for the watersports and charge less than if you went to Playa Chica yourself. See this map, if your a first time visitor then you should print this it'll be very handy :- http://www.lanzarote.com/puerto-del-carmen/ zoom in a bit and look towards the bottom left. 24 is Playa Chica and the Biosfers is where 17 is, Bus Stop is opposite on Avienda Juan Carlos. BTW if there's a Mr Michelle then he may find the Bus Stop is a handly little refuge if you want to spend some time in the Biosfera, there's some quite decent clothes shops in there (apparently). BTW2 - I'm not sure but I think Plaza Palmeras is on Calle Guayadeque which is just behind 55. Spenders is where No 6 is, the main nightlife area is between 5 and 13. Old Town is the area around No 7. Have a great time - Ole
