Villa Help and Advice please.

Hello! We are hoping to make our 5th visit to PB in April (3rd - 17th). For our previous trips we have booked private villas from a well known company. We have always had excellent accommodation and have been very pleased with the service. This time however they have nothing available that suits us - knowing PB quite well now, we know the areas that we would most like to stay in.

So now we are trying to find a villa independently and it is proving none too easy. We have emailed about 10 enquiries with only two responses back.

Can anyone help? We would like a 3 bed, with private pool. Within 15-20 minute walk of PB centre. We have stayed in Montana Roja and Costa Papagayo before and found these to be well located. There is a chance that we might have found a villa on Los Calamares - does anyone know anything good or bad about that area?

Finally, we are a bit nervous about booking direct like this, without the backing of an ABTA company. Do you have any advice and what would be normal procedure for payment?

Normal procedure for payment would be direct with the owners who will give you all their details for contact. I have booked many this way and have never had any problem.
